AOC 7 - Developing More Sustainable Futures Through Permaculture
Muffadal Saylawala joined the Experience Institute as a founding member in 2013. Along with 4 other students, he embarked on a journey of learning about permaculture through doing.
The Experience Institute serves as a model for the future of education. Founded by Victor Saad after a successful Leap Year Project, Ei allows students to work in 3 internships to build relevant and useful skills.
Muffadal discusses Ei, along with the skills he's learned thus far in his journey. He digs into the work he did prior to Ei and how that integrated into what he's doing today. The opportunity was different than anything he pursued before.
Join in to find out about permaculture in today's episode. You'll also learn:
- How permaculture utilizes systems created through nature,
- How Muffadal let go more often, and how that changed his life,
- A key habit to Muffadal's success (hint: realize opportunity > problem).
