Nathan Labenz started Stik.com after being inspired by Mark Zuckerberg and the first few members of Facebook. He and his co-founder Jay asked "what can we do?" as they graduated Harvard (magna cum laude for Nathan) and spent time building their skills.

Over time, Nathan realized how much of need there was for professionals to have their work rated online. He noticed how high trust relationships resulted in quicker deals, more efficiency, and a better marketplace. So Nathan and Jay began building Stik.com.

Stik.com boasts over 200,000 professionals and over 2.5 million reviews. Join me as we chat with Nathan about his motivation for starting, how Stik is different than Yelp, and why he thinks 'just do it' is sometimes bad advice.

  • Support: Get onto Stik.com and use the website.
  • Success Habit: When you're asked a good question, take a second to pause and think about a good answer.
  • Bonus Habit: Commit to revisiting and challenging your beliefs. Ask, "is this what I should believe given what I now know?"
